Here are my answers…
These are "my opinion" about why people should study communication...actually it's based from my experience...
1. After I study communication theory, I know that basically people have different color or we can say characteristic. We can differ them into 5 color which representative their general behavior. As a public relation student, in my career next I will face many different. That’s why I have to study about it.
2. In communication theory I learn about nonverbal communication. One thing that I mostly remember is gesture. I learn that people not just communicate in verbal communication. Sometimes people just give reaction by giving gesture.
3. In communication study we learn about culture. Every culture has different norms and traits. By learning this we will widen our knowledge.
4. Sometimes in our daily life we will face any conflict. In communication theory we can learn how to solve any conflict in the right way.
5. For most people, they will be afraid to speak in front of people. For example the condition now is mostly people in the meeting, they have brilliant idea, but they are shy to prove the idea. That’s because the don’t have courage to speak in front of people. In communication I learn how to speak our mind in the right way and how to solve our afraid to speak well in front of people.
6. In communication study I learn how to communicate using various media. I practiced how to write news like a presenter and how to write a note well.
7. In communication study I learn the progress of technology. It important because nowadays everything runs through internet. And I will not survive in communication career without following it.
8. In communication study I learn how to use effective communication.
9. I learn about the personal communication. How it’s about, I know that it’s true that we have to have close friend.
10. I learn how to attract people, sometimes we have to use other or non formal way to attract people..magic for example….:)
